Why Did I Choose To Live Chemical Free…?
And for me, a big reason I chose to begin to live chemical free was the chemicals were making me ill. So eliminating them from my life has given me renewed energy, and my immune system is finally returned back to normal. Sleep becomes very important as your body begins to heal. For me it was important to choose a 100% organic mattress as I wanted to make sure what I slept on was also organic and over time I know this has made a difference for me. After all, we spend a large proportion of our lives asleep !!
When it comes to chemicals in food. There is no doubt that living chemical free, can allow you to have some control over exactly what you are putting in your body’s. So you don’t upset such things as your digestive tract, and bowel functions.
Most importantly to, is the water we consume on a daily basis. Our bodies are made up of 70% water, so therefore must be replenished everyday. Good quality water is important, as one of our biggest chemical culprits in our homes is chlorine.
It can, over time, contribute to such things as cancer of the bladder, liver, stomach and colon.
You can thankfully purchase water filters such as Brita water Filters to remove chlorine and other irritants from your water source. But the best advice is to purchase distilled water or if you can find a natural spring close by, use it for your families drinking water source.
For my husband and I living chemical free has become a passion. It’s a decision we are so grateful to have made together. Our spirits, and are health are renewed. Our life is definitely better for it. Having our life free of chemicals and toxins, means we are now assuring that our grandchildren will have a better environment in which to grow up in.
