Healthy pancakes are an excellent choice for anyone looking to improve their overall health. If you are diabetic, on a weight loss path, or just looking to feel better and be more energized. These little yummy treats are loaded with goodness.
My girlfriend Annmarie was over the other day for two days and we prepared a whole bunch of raw living foods. This was one of the recipes that we experimented with. Coming up with what we think is the best available results.
You will be shocked to learn that there is no flour, no eggs, no milk and no sugar in these pancakes, but I can assure you there is TASTE.
Healthy Pancake Recipe
- 1 cup of soaked sunflower seeds
- 1 cup of organic unsweetened coconut
- Some coconut water if needed
- The juice from a ½ organic orange
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- a few organic dates, or a splash of maple syrup, or agave syrup
Process the sunflower seeds in your food processor, next add the dates and syrup
When well mixed, add the rest of the ingredients.
In food processor, process,
- 1 cup of blueberries
- 5 dates or prunes
When mixed up in food processor pour over pancakes.
