Healthy Gluten Free Tortillas

These homemade gluten free tortillas are a wonderful healthy choice when you find yourself on a gluten free diet. Made with only the healthiest ingredients, paying close attention to pure, organic wholesome foods.

Gluten Free Tortillas:

  • 1 1/4 cups of brown rice flour, or gluten free all purpose flour
  • ½ cup of millet
  • ½ cup of tapioca flour
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ cup of oil
  • 2 tbsp flax seed meal and ½ cup of water ( this is the egg substitute) or one organic egg ( look for instructions below)
  • 1 1/2 cups soya, rice, or organic milk
  • ¾ cup of water
  • Mix all the ingredients together with a hand held beater until smooth and creamy
    Cook these gluten free tortillas on a preheated griddle till brown.To replace 2 eggs

    Place 2 tbsp of ground flax in large bowl, add ½ cup of water put mixture in microwave and heat till bubbles ( or on stove top) Cool in freezer until mixture thickens. Using electric mixer, mix until slightly creamy colour and foamy.
