Fibroid Symptoms

Fibroid symptoms associated with uterine fibroids ( also called leiomyomas or myomas) are benign growths that can form on the interior muscular wall as well as the exterior of the uterus. These tumors can vary in size from very small to several pounds.

I have been suffering from these tumors for a few years now. Sometimes they get so bad I feel zapped of all my energy. But I am here to tell you I have some answers!

However the more I learn about what causes fibroids, the more I realize there are steps I can take to, if not to eliminate these symptoms, then certainly to lessen them.

There are foods you can eat to help shrink you fibroid symptoms and foods you can avoid to further assist more growth of them. Such as eating a plant based diet, free of animal proteins and dairy. Fibroids thrive on animal protein and should be eliminated from your diet completely.

Thankfully in most cases these tumors are non cancerous. So this is a blessings, however they can create some pretty severe problems to the person suffering from them.

Good news for us fibroid suffers out there, these tumors shrink on the onset of menopause. For young women out there, heres a tip of the day about avoiding fibroid tumors.

DON`T take oral contraceptives, they stimulate the growth of fibroids.

It is estimated that 20-30% of women will develop symptoms of fibroids in their lifetime. They are known to run in families. For me when I researched some natural alternatives to help combat heavy bleeding I came up with Yellow Dock , an herb I use each time I get my monthly cycle. This has helped restore my iron and hemoglobin levels tremendously!

Depending on the precise location , fibroids can cause pains in the legs, back and or pelvis, and exert pressure upon the bowels or the bladder, or even block the urethra and create a kidney obstruction.

For me when my stomach bloating was at it’s worst from the pressure of the fibroids what worked best for me was daily juicing. It seemed to help cleanse my intestinal track, which helped with my discomfort in my stomach area. To learn more check out my article below.
